[Abk. für Independent Expert Group on Mobile Phones, dt. »unabhängige Expertengruppe für Mobiltelefone«], eine unabhängige, britische Expertengruppe, die im März 1999 auf Anregung des britischen Gesundheitsministers von der Nationalen Strahlenschutzkommission (National Radiological Protection Board, NRPB) eingerichtet wurde. Die IEGMP hat die Aufgabe, die möglichen gesundheitlichen Risiken zu bewerten, die nach dem augenblicklichen Stand der Forschung von Mobiltelefonen ausgehen.
